#1 Presentation case for infusion pumps
Problem of the customer: Our customer is a market leader in pharmaceutical and medical supplies. He needed a stylish presentation case for his latest development of infusion pumps. For him, the design, but also the handling of the case were particularly important. To find such a standard case on the market was impossible. An own development was therefore inevitable. Therefore, the customer came to us with clear visions.
Solution of bwh Koffer: First, a case layout was developed together with the client’s design agency. The look therefore fits exactly into the corporate design. Details were clarified in many discussions. For example, the inlay had to guarantee the necessary stability or the case lid had to achieve the desired translucent look. Material tests were carried out for this purpose. Only after detailed prototyping and subsequent toolmaking did the production of the shell case start. The case was thus produced exactly according to the customer’s wishes.
#2 Shuttle packaging for transfer in case of maintenance
Problem of the customer: Users in hospitals or doctors’ surgeries depend on the flawless use of medical devices. If a device is defective, it must be replaced quickly. The manufacturer of these devices therefore asked himself how he could manage the safe outward and return shipment. He needed a transport box that would make shipping as easy as possible for his buyers. It also has to be robust and able to withstand a lot during transport.
Solution of bwh Koffer: A box made of particularly resistant material was tailor-made to the dimensions of the device. The employee simply places the item in the recess provided in the foam and closes the transport box. Everything is ready for shipment now. Embedded in the foam, the device is safely enclosed and optimally protected during transport. The box is also compact, easy to handle and reusable. A safe and sustainable solution has been found.
#3 Transport case for medical instruments
Problem of the customer: Optimally fitting prostheses mean quality of life for patients with amputations. This can only be achieved through exact measurements. But how are the sensitive instruments best protected during transport? Even the smallest damage to the equipment can falsify the measurement results. Our customer from the orthopaedic technology sector therefore needed a safe and reliable transport solution.
Solution of bwh Koffer: The transport case is tailored to the dimensions of the measuring instruments. This makes optimal use of the space inside. Embedded in a foam insert, the individual parts do not slip. This prevents them from damaging other instruments or, in the worst case, making them unusable. Everything is neatly stowed away and ready to hand. Furthermore, the case was designed with high-quality materials and a logo imprint. Accordingly, the customer presents himself in the best possible way and conveys a safe feeling to his patient. Last but not least, everything can be stored in a space-saving way thanks to the small dimensions of the case.
