Donation campaigns for TC ‘Rodde Igels’ and Kremer-Haus
At bwh Spezialkoffer, we are proud not only to develop high-quality products, but also to take responsibility as a company in the region. We are therefore delighted to be involved in two important fundraising campaigns that are particularly close to our hearts.
Giving support to the TC ‘Rodde Igels’ and the children’s cancer charity
At our employee Christmas party in December 2024, we launched a donation campaign with a raffle. Our employees raised an impressive €610 by selling raffle tickets – a sum that the management generously doubled. In the end, we were able to donate €1,220 to the TC ‘Rodde Igels’ association from Rheine/Germany, which is committed to helping children with cancer. We are proud of our colleagues and are delighted to have made a joint contribution to such an important cause.
Long-standing support for the Kremer House in Rheine/Germany
We have been supporting the Kremer House, an important emergency shelter for homeless people in the region, since 2009. This year, we were once again able to help with a donation of €5,000. The funds are used to provide everyday necessities: from medicines and hygiene products to food, train tickets and household goods such as pots, crockery and bed linen. This support helps people to make a fresh start in their own home – a goal that is very close to our hearts.
Why regional help is so important to us
Our roots are in the region and this is exactly where we want to give something back. By supporting organisations such as the TC ‘Rodde Igels’ and the Kremer House, we help to improve the lives of local people. We know that every euro donated goes where it is needed. For us, taking on social responsibility is not only a matter close to our hearts, but also part of our corporate values.
