Transport box as mini incubator:

Customer requirement:

In order to be able to transport living cells between clinics, research facilities or other institutions, a freeze-thaw process has been used until now. A procedure that often leads to damage or even total failure for the sensitive cells. Our customer therefore asked the question of how living cells can be transported under laboratory conditions?

Solution of bwh:

The transport box made of thermo formed plastic is specially tailored to the required equipment. The requirements are high. On the one hand, the box has to protect the sensitive goods to be transported and on the other hand, it has to accommodate a lot of high-tech. A CO2 cylinder, a touch display and various technology for monitoring and control have to fit inside. The built-in technology adjusts the temperature and the gas atmosphere to the sensitive cargo and thus enables smooth transport. At the same time, the box is handy and easy to transport by one person.

Presentation case with WOW effect:

Customer requirement:

The first impression counts! The denture should not differ from the patient’s existing teeth. To achieve this, the dentist compares the shape and colour of the teeth with samples. But how can these be presented well and clearly? Especially a professional appearance creates trust with the patient. Therefore, a successful presentation of their products is particularly important to our customer.

Solution of bwh:

An elegant briefcase with a foam insert holds a total of 35 plates with sample teeth that are matched with the patient. For better orientation, the individual product categories of the manufacturer are printed on the foam. The company logo is clearly visible on the outside. After use, the small and handy briefcase can be stored in a space-saving way.

Transport sensitive surgical utensils safely:

Customer requirement:

In neurosurgery, the surgeon must rely 100% on his equipment. So how can the skull clamps needed for operations be transported safely? Our customer also asked himself this question. Even minor damage has a major impact on the patient.

Solution of bwh:

The case is adapted to the dimensions of the skull clamps. It is therefore compact, light and handy. At the same time, the used materials offer the highest stability. The single clamps fit exactly into the cut-outs of the individual foam insert and are thus optimally protected. Since the foam must not release any particle residues into the products, it is cold-foamed. Therefore, nothing stands in the way of its use in the operating theatre.
